Adult Education

For more information about how to enroll in CHOICES or what is offered please contact Lisa Tremblay, ltremblay@sd70.bc.ca.

Online Learning is method of instruction that relies primarily on communication between students and teachers by means of the internet. It may also include other types of instruction at a distance from the learner, such as correspondence or teleconferencing, as well as in person services.  CHOICES online learning school is led by B.C. certified teachers, and provides quality services to learners. EALC offers a hybrid model of face to face teaching opportunities, in person and zoom conferences as well quality online programs. We also offer small group exploration activities that provide opportunities for students to meet learning competencies through competency based learning.

Homeschooling is an educational program provided to a child by a parent that is not under the supervision or direction of a qualified teacher.

K-12: Online Learning programs and courses are always available to students who reside in Pacific Rim (70) school district, regardless of whether or not they are also enrolled in an independent school or francophone education authority.

Adults: If you are over 18 and would like to enroll in Eighth Avenue Learning Centre's Adult CHOICES programs  registration is closed for the Summer but if you are in need of a course before September we can open under special circumstances.
