September at UES

Good morning families

We hope you are enjoying a lovely start to the school year and the transition to routines and fall.

We have had a wonderful start to the school year and wish to share the following events for September as follows:

Monday Sept. 21 no school for kids for Professional Day

Thursday Sept. 24th PAC  Back to School BBQ and open house.  Please join us in classrooms from 4:30 to 5:00 pm followed by the BBQ from 5 - 7 pm on the back field of the school.

Tuesday Sept. 29th we are asking for all staff and students to please wear orange shirts in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.  In the coming days and weeks our school will participate in various learning activities and lessons to build our knowledge around Canada's National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Wednesday Sept. 30th no school today for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
