New Bell Schedule for John Howitt Elementary (2023-2024)

Our bell schedule is changing to meet the instructional hours required for the new school year. Please note a change to our start and end times at Howitt. This bell schedule will start on our first full day of classes on Wednesday September 6th, 2023.

Start of the day- 8:37 am

First Recess- 10:10 am - 10:25 am (Grades 4 to 7)

Second Recess- 10:25 am -10:40 am (K to Grade 3)

Lunch play time outside for all students- 12:00 pm to 12:35 pm

Students eat from 12:35 pm to 12:50 pm (with their classroom teachers)

Dismissal (end of day)- 2:20 pm
