Important Maquinna Onsite Childcare Survey ~ complete by December 17th

Last week we sent out a Childcare Survey from the Ministry of Education and Childcare. This was a provincial data collection however today we are sending out a survey that is Maquinna specific. 

Please read the information and complete the online survey or paper survey (copies are available in the office).

Métis Nation British Columbia (MNBC), Alberni Clayquot Metis Society (ACMS), and School District 70 Pacific Rim have developed a survey to confirm need and interest for an onsite childcare building at Maquinna Elementary. We know from recent local research that childcare is a significant need, particularly for families in the Maquinna School catchment area.

 By filling in this survey, you will help further inform the hours and the type of care needed that should be explored to meet the needs of the community. We are asking families to complete the following survey to help us confirm interest by Dec 17, 2023. Please drop off filled out paper copies at the office at Maquinna or the Board Office. We are very excited to welcome your expressions of interest for this possible new opportunity!
