2026/27 Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration for the 2026/27 School Year opens February 2, 2026 for children born in 2021.

How to register

Families are asked to register their child at their neighbourhood catchment school.

1. Find your catchment school
   If you’re not sure which school is your catchment, you can find it by entering your address using the School Locator tool.
2. Get the registration form
    Registration forms are available:
   • Online, or
   • In person at your neighbourhood catchment school
3. Submit your registration
    Completed registration forms can be:
   • Emailed to your child’s school with a copy of your child’s birth certificate, Care Card, and proof of address; or
   • Dropped off in person at your neighbourhood catchment school
4. All About Me form
   Families are invited to complete the All About Me form. This helps schools get to know your child and support a smooth, caring transition into Kindergarten.
   • Families can complete the form online ( All About Me - Family Form – Fill out form) or pick up a paper copy when registering in person. 
   • If your child attends an early care and learning program, an educator may complete a separate All About Me form, with family consent. (All About Me – Early Care and Learning Educator Form – Fill out form)

Important dates

• February 2, 2026 – Kindergarten registration opens
• February 28, 2026 – Catchment registration encouraged to support planning
• Requests to attend a school outside your catchment will be reviewed after February 28, if space is available.
