E.J. Dunn Observes Red Dress Day
E.J. Dunn students learned about Red Dress Day last week in honour of and as a reminder of missing and murdered Indigenous women. Some students wore red, others created their own red dresses to "hang" around the school, and conversations were had in many classes. Red Dress Day is marked annually in Canada to raise awareness about the ongoing issue of violence against Indigenous women, girls and two-spirit people.
