Mental Health and Wellness Resources-COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic may be a very stressful and frightening time for our children and ourselves. While it is important to remember that fear and anxiety about disease is normal, excessive worry is not. We all manage stress in different ways. When stress becomes unhealthy it may result in significant fear or worry, change in sleeping, diet or eating patterns, changes in overall health, or even substance abuse.

Modelling calmness, following routines, framing our situation in a positive manner by focusing on our opportunities to be with family, eating healthy and keeping active, can all contribute to our strength and the notion that we will get through this.
Following are a variety of online tools and resources designed to promote resiliency and help us cope with the uncertainty and challenges of our present times.
