Elementary Badminton and Volleyball

The elementary volleyball and badminton seasons have wrapped up in SD70. It was wonderful to see inter-school competition up and running in our district’s gymnasiums again. These were the first indoor inter-school competitions we have hosted since March of 2020. The Volleyball Program had over 50 participants while the Badminton Program had over 90 student-athletes compete. Athletes were super keen to play and were very grateful to have volunteer coaches who made these programs fun, safe and successful. The District, in collaboration with the After School Sports and Arts Initiative, looks forward to offering Basketball and Fine Arts programming in January of 2022.
