Aboriginal Education Over 1050 students (30% of the student population) are Aboriginal in SD70. Both our District Accountability Contract and Aboriginal Enhancement Agreement direct learning resources to support students. As well, we have a Local Education Agreement with the ten First Nations communities and the Nuuchahnulth Tribal Council. Curriculum Development SD70 and NTC staff along with community resource people are actively developing curriculum utilizing Nuuchahnulth themes. The curriculum development pages are here. Language Curriculum The Nuuchahnulth Language IRP (Grades5-12) is available by following the links. You will need to install the Nuuchahnulth font to view these properly on your computer.

Spring Festival Our 6th Annual Aboriginal Spring Festival, will be held on May 14, 2009 from 5 - 8 pm at ADSS. Over 1000 students will be participating this year.
